MEET THE DESIGNER

HOWDY

Hi! My name is Ceci Tucker, and I’m the designer behind Wilde Folk Studio. I was born and raised in Austin, back when the city looked a little wilder and slower than it does today. Design has always my refuge. From transforming my childhood bedroom into a full-on Blue Crush surf sanctuary to launching my very own jewelry line in college. Creating has always been the way I move through the world. Through each season of life, along with all the ups & downs, creativity has been my constant companion.

OUR DESIGN ETHOS

Some spaces just hold you differently.

I know that feeling from the inside. I lost my dad when I was seven, and my bedroom became my whole world. The place I created, grieved, imagined, and healed. My mom gave me the design freedom to make it my own, and I never forgot what that meant (even if she shortly regretted that decision, as I turned my entire room into a surf shack inspired by the film “Blue Crush”).

A room that truly belongs to you isn't just decoration. It's a sanctuary. A space that provides you safety, inspiration, and happiness.

That belief is the foundation of everything I do at Wilde Folk Studio.

I don't design for trends. I design for the life you're actually living. The things that make you exhale when you walk through the door. The corners that feel like you. The details that catch your eye on a Tuesday morning and remind you that your space was made with intention.

Beautiful doesn't have to mean cold. Styled doesn't have to mean cluttered. The spaces I'm drawn to are gathered over time, designed with intention, and built to be lived in, not just looked at.

Every room I design starts with a simple question: what do you want to feel here? Because when a space makes you feel safe, inspired, and proud to come home to, that's not a coincidence. That's design doing its real job.
